Miles Aldridge

No wonder Miles Aldridge is one of the UK's most successful fashion photographers, his highly stylised and colour popping images are instantly lovable. He's had a pretty interesting life too. His father (Alan Aldridge) designed book cover for Penguin books and he is the designer behind many great album covers including The Beatles, The Who and The Rolling Stones, So its fair to say he's come from a rather creative background. Not only that but he was in a rockabilly band, studied art at St Martins School of Art in London and is married to a model. hmph.

This is such a lovely campaign, wool is such a brilliant fabric and very underused in Australia (probaly something to do with the climate) I have some brilliant wool socks my mam knitted for me...... I'll try and put together an outfit with them!

Huit colour

These are from Huit's Spring/Summer 2011 collection and although some of the lingerie is not especially striking the images I think are. I love the neutral tones with a small use of colour and the mannequins look brilliant. Bright colours have been a very popular trend this season in lingerie, bringing a more youthful and fashion foccussed element to it.
